The ATAT Board of Directors has named Melvin Pouncy the new Executive Director.

Pouncy’s history as an agriculture science teacher and CT Department Head, combined with a passion for agricultural education, will further advance the goals of the association. “This is an incredible honor, and I’m excited to continue the great work of our profession and to assist in guiding Texas Ag Ed into the future,” says Pouncy. “I’m very thankful to the teachers for the confidence they have placed in me.”
