Steps for Conference Housing
1) Conference participants will click on the link provided in the email sent for the designated hotels to make reservations.

2) Credit cards are requested for guarantee purposes only and will not be charged except as a no-show. Upon arrival, you may use another form of payment for the hotel rooms. We recommend contacting your hotel at least two weeks prior to check-in to see if the hotel has special procedures for accepting school checks or for changing the method of payment. Some hotels are now authorizing charges on the credit card on file on the scheduled day of arrival. And some hotels require the school checks to be received in advance. Each hotel is different, so it is best to ask your hotel.

3) Print and file your confirmation for your records. ATAT will not have a record of where the teachers are staying.

4) Billing questions, statement requests or balance questions will be answered by the hotel.

5) Generally, reservations must be canceled within 48 hours prior to arrival, however, some hotels may have a different cancellation policy, so please request this information from your hotel.

• Agriculture Teachers Association has secured room blocks for attendees at a variety of hotels to meet all tastes and budgets. These participating hotels are providing discounted rates to you based on a guaranteed percentage of attendees staying in these official conference hotels and are providing financial incentives to Agriculture Teachers Association which help defray the cost of Conference.

• When rooms are booked at hotels that are NOT within our official hotel block

• Agriculture Teachers Association is exposed to penalties for not fulfilling our room block commitments; by avoiding hotel penalties, Agriculture Teachers Association is able to keep conference costs down.

• Agriculture Teachers Association risks their future ability to contract preferred hotels and receive discounted rates

• Agriculture Teachers Association risks losing qualification for the amount of space needed at the convention center

• Agriculture Teachers Association is unable to help protect reservations in the event the hotel “oversells” its room inventory
